Corey McDonald is an encourager of young people working to ensure they pause before making decisions that negatively affect their future. Focusing on importance of their “circle of influence” and why this is one of the most critical attributes a young person can possess. Growing up in northeast Kansas City, Corey learned at an early age, the power of influence on an individual’s decision making abilities. His story is proof that you are NOT defined by your mistakes and that you can recover by adjusting your “circle of influence”.
Mr. McDonald has worked with at risk juveniles through the Ezekiel Project and develop a program for youth between the ages of 12-17.
After attending college and graduating with a degree in business, Corey started a business career as an entrepreneur, a career that lasted more than 26 years. After a call to ministry, Corey continued his studies at the University of Dubuque Theological Seminary, and served as pastor of New Springs Community Church. Currently, Corey serves as Lead Pastor of Lee’s Summit Missional Church and is an advocate for youth in the city.
